Interdisciplinary Research Group in Public Health

The Interdisciplinary Research Group in Public Health (IRGPH) is a dynamic research team within the Doctoral School of the University of Burundi. We are dedicated to addressing diverse public health challenges through innovative, evidence-based research and building sustainable local capacities in critical areas including epidemiology, biomedical sciences, epidemic preparedness and response, and comprehensive public health practice in Burundi.

Multidisciplinary Approach

Given the multidisciplinary nature of public health challenges, the interdisciplinary research group provides a collaborative research environment where several areas of expertise and technical supports are made available to researchers, healthcare practitioners, and policymakers in the public health domain. Our approach brings together diverse perspectives and specialized knowledge to develop comprehensive solutions for complex health issues.
