Nathan Hatagekimana

MSc. Ir. Nathanaël HATEGEKIMANA is a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Public Health Research Programme at the University of Burundi, specializing in Epidemiology. His research focus on modeling the spread of infectious diseases in dynamic social networks. He holds a master’s degree in statistics specially in biostatistics from the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin, where he modeled and mapped the risks of zoonotic disease outbreaks in Burundi. I He has a background in agronomy and biostatistics. He completed extensive training in zoonotic disease outbreaks (WHO), health research (ITOCA), agricultural research (AGORA), and One Health Practices (World Bank Group). He is proficient in several programming languages and software (R, Python, STATA, SPSS, Eviews, among others). His interests include data analysis, and modeling.
